Shag Carpets and Bean Bags. Rather than sitting on real furniture, designers are now suggesting a return to the basics. In the seventies, everyone had thick, shag carpeting, and now it's become popular again (as opposed to Berber, the thinnest possible carpet around), only this time it's not in mixed blue and green colors (thank goodness!). And, with the modification of the original bean bag chair that was so popular in the 80s to seat more than one comfortably on plush material or even leather rather than sticky vinyl, you can have your whole home outfitted retro style!
It is clear, then, that while rattan outdoor furniture is most commonly seen, and associated with, garden arrangements, there are plenty of other uses to be made of this type of furniture. A little imagination and an eye for dcor can make a rattan set fit in anywhere!
They are marketed as invincible furniture, but in reality, they cannot be used for long. As you keep using them, they get outworn. The rubber buttons may become lose, or the seams might give away slightly, etc. When that happens, the furniture becomes useless, because it will not be able to hold air. In fact, just after a few weeks of using this furniture, you will see that it doesn't hold as much air as it used to earlier.
