Just to make it look a little more congruent. If you took the doors off and then rolled towels and used coordinating baskets, you could make the storage look spa-like?! But they're in my BATHROOM, of all places, and make what would be a normal-sized entry way into a wee little passage that when I was pregnant made it nearly impossible to get to the shower without getting wedged. They were built into the room at some juncture (not when the house was built 110 years ago, so they come into the room pretty far and are generally useless. So I feel your pain.
