It's a good thing, right? I mean, as moms,we totally want to decrease the potential hurts and stuff, but really, I think I should encourage her to put herself out there and be vulnerable.

I took a picture of my son wearing a shirt that says 'Holla At Your Boy' and he had the most insane smile, dimples blaring and all and I immediately captioned it:

"Holla at you your boy, but not MY BOY, as I am not above taking a 7 year old girl down."

She is helplessly precious. Parenting your girl(yours almost 3, mine almost 10) is a different scene than parenting your boy. And you opened my eyes "I want her to crush hard on boys who she thinks " because I am there, so there. And you, well, you awakened me on that one. TY.

I'm going to print this comment out, tape it to my mirrors, fridge and have it tattooed somewhere I frequently look...let's say across my boobs. That's the hope I might just need.

Aw, I think he might be a little stoked on her, too. They seem to be heading into "my friend, _______" territory - you know how little ones have a way of only having like, one friend at a time? Yeah, there.

For me, parenting just kept getting easier. My daughter is 17 now, and she's never had "typical" teen moodiness. At least not in my house. In her mom's house? I'm not so sure.

Enjoy those terrible twos while she's in them.

I love the look on her face - it is so expressive. And that poor little numb-nuts standing next to her doesn't realize he doesn't stand a chance. He is cooked and he doesn't even know it.
