Ok – confession time. I once had VERY long hair, down to the small of my back.

It was my “Biker-Hair”. I was riding a motorcycle when I lived in Arizona and long hair was easy to deal with. I have *EXTREMELY* curly hair – the low humidity of Arizona was perfect for making it easy to deal with.

In 1999 I moved to Massachusetts. My first fall there, 95 degrees and 95% humidity, convinced me that maybe a shorter style was better for me. (The puff-ball on the back of my head that used to be my pony-tail was annoying at best)

I came home that night and my wife started asking me if I’d enlisted. Ok, maybe I went a bit too far.

i covet your bangs. and any possibility of well-conditioned, frizz-free, flat-ironable mermaid hair. it never will happen here.
