My dad's an alcoholic. My grandpa's an alcoholic. My mom is a budding alcoholic. My ex-boyfriend is an alcoholic and completely denies his problem (that and his extreme temper). After I broke up with the guy I was with before the husband, I stopped drinking. He was a drunk. His father was a drunk. His grandfather was a drunk. He did not so nice things when he was drunk. The drink clouded who I saw him as. Stopping drinking for that time was important and necessary. It gave me perspective and showed me myself and what I had been missing!
