Looks as though I’m behind Di, with 53. How many have you seen?

In other news…

I’ve decided that my solution for not getting crap done up in this hizzle is to cut back on my internet time. I know, it was a shock to me, too. So! Starting today, I’ll be blogging only every second day – but I’ll still be reading and commenting daily! The days off of blogging, I’ll be using to work and shower.

God, that sounded so sad.

In line with this is the thought to restrict myself to certain hours, so blogging and reading and commenting and buzzing will come after bedtime. During the day, it’s housework and cooking and work-work.

One day of the weekend will be romancing the canine day where I get to do WETFIFL. Do you want me to further spell that out?

Let’s see how long I stick to this plan. If I actually do, I might go back to actually having a clean house and dishes and laundry, less than 10 magazines and books waiting to be read, with a kid that lives on more than prepackaged food and produce and not be so damn stressed about work deadlines that I can’t motivate myself to do the actual work I’m stressing about.

  • Can you just take like one day off, feed your kids a week's worth of food and then resume blogging for a few more days? I think snakes eat that way and they've been around since dinosaur times.

  • I do not think you are alone in the whole "cuttting back on blogging deal." Blogging was starting to be more work than fun, that's why I am not blogging every day. A few times a week. I figure it's like a tease. I need to keep my readers wanting more of my fine bloggy arse. No problem with you doing the same. We'll be here when you are.
Oh, go see No Country For Old Men. You'll love it.

  • I've seen the same number as you. I'm surprised at some of the ones you and Di haven't seen, according to the list...Amelie, Pan's Labyrinth, Lives of Others, Life is Beautiful. They're all foreign films, which some people aren't into, but they're all so good!

I like when people do posts like these. I don't know why, but I do.
  • forty. good luck!
