Oh, Up My Alley

Sarah tagged me for a book meme. This is kinda interesting, but you know, doesn’t really tell you anything about me, other than my semi-geeky reading habits. Okay, very geeky.

The deal:

1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

The book: The Girlfriend’s Guide to Getting Your Groove Back, by Vicki Iovine
The words: “The only nightmare that would be worse for me would be Adrienne Johnson, room mother to all sixteen of her kids and weaver of all her own fabrics for her family’s clothes, standing with herprotective arm around my child. If that ever happened, I’d never go to sleep again.

“If you don’t believe me, watch television!”

I’m not tagging anyone, cuz, well, you’re like all moms (and dads) who are intelligent enough not to spend hours up when you could be sleeping, reading - and therefore likely don’t have enough time to read and so books are not just sitting around with pages outnumbering 123. Like I do.

    Funny idea !
    I wanted to participate but I realized that I only have parenting books on my bedside ! Jeeeez !
    And the only one that’s not, it’s the book you are talking about….I have to go to the library first thing in the morning !
