october 31st was both my n’anniversary and hallowe’en. the first one didn’t matter to anyone. the second one, even though i’m really not into it, mattered more to me and stargirl than to zoë. it was so unimportant to her, it was astounding.
she really was just interested in why everyone was wearing weird shit and walking around with chocolate bars in her hands. which was pretty cute, considering the ratio of mini-candy-package to her hand is equivalent to a regular size version in an adult’s.
