in less than 18 days, i will be putting a dress and toque and wings on my little nymph and perusing the neighbourhood for treats. not tricks. because mommy wants some damn candy.
we’ve been training for this via her taking walks everyday at least once, without a stroller. so far today she walked home from the bank, then after nap-time to a restaurant where daddy took us for lunch, then to the video store, too. she is an awesome good walker except for holding hands sometimes but then it’s walking over threats and she’ll give up the mitt. she so loves to stomp on leaves and examine benches.
i had a caesar at lunch and fh had a beer (zoë had water) and it was very yummy but this couple sitting on the patio were glaring at us when z was waving to them from her chair inside. like, sorry, my gorgeous daughter is so social and picked YOU TWO to bestow her cuteness on and then fh was like, it’s cuz we’re drinking and not controlling her. and i’m like, since when is waving something to be controlled in a toddler? whatever i guess they wanted alone time on a public patio. oh and fyi, if there’s no smoking allowed on the patio, it means you, private public patio people.
fh and i watched 28 weeks later tonite after bedsies and it was pretty much exactly what i thought it’d be but the first 10 minutes were uber intense. it made me need to smoke a lot but i held that back. so now, what, another sequel will be called 28 months later? then what 28 years and 28 centuries? OH the rage in space. awesome.
i am interested in seeing that 30 days horror movie that’s coming out this month. anything with vampires vs werewolves is cool especially with fh cuz we are always on opposing sides except when we saw the last Underworld and there was a merging of the species and then we were comrades so it helped that because of someone (me) we got locked out of the theatre on the roof of the mall and oh i was pregnant and had to go to the bathroom so bad and so was bitchy as hell and he had to climb down a bit to get to a door to get back to the theatre’s exit with. that put us on opposite poles again.
oh and it took a whole what, 11 days for me to go back to pinning my bangs up. i hate my hair so much more now. sye.
