it might be shit, but it's my shit

so in a panic, i finally posted ads on craigslist for most of my extra stuff. so far, all of zoë’s baby clothes have sold, which was $60 i can definitely use. there’s been a lot of interest in her old car seat and my kitchen table too, so sweet. i still have a whack of books to get rid of so if you’re looking for free fiction and wanna pay for the shipping email me. i have the bad habit of buying new books by authors i like as soon as they’re released. then after they’re read, they just sit there, $30 i never should have spent.

i also have gotten more than 50% of database #2 done, i’ll finish it tonight, it looks like. then i have to add to database #1 and create invitations for an event for the same customer. then email them out to her customers and wait for RSVPs.

so, eventually, i’ll have time to mop again soon, it seems.

oh, but client #1 also has a customer who wants me to do his three databases and this month, especially, i need to go where the money is, so maybe no over-zealous mopping for me. boo.

in my fridge right now: ingredients for stew that zoë loves. also: ingredients to make mini lasagnas. must cook before the meat turns, obviously. the intent is to freeze both concoctions in serving sizes then i’ll be cooking-free for a couple of days! yay for planning, now the follow through.

oh and i also had the genius idea of cooking thanksgiving dinner for me, z, fh, fn and sam. this should be easier than last year, what with the lack of colic and breastfeeding every hour and a half!

Ahhh! I've the same problem with new books (it's the smell...so fresh and papery), only now I've realized the beauty and cheapness of the library. We should put our books together and have a bookstore, call it ..... i dunno, something funny...my humour's gone down the storm drain with the rain :S
