so this morning my neighbour-friend took zoë for three hours as the first day of her being my new flexible childminding option. i got one of my databases done! you know what that meant?
naptime gave me the luxury of working on other stuff for the same client. and when i’d emailed that off to her, i got to organize my gigantic pile of to do stuff into manageable mini-piles. smaller multiple piles equals less heart attacks over giant heaps, for terra.
zing!
now, i’m waiting for the zmeister to awaken, using my time to write this amazing post and then to enter my week’s receipts into my tracking file. yes, i’m that big of a geek that i track all of my expenses – so i guess i have electronic proof of how irresponsible i am.
upon her waking up, there’ll be a snack and then we’ll go out for walkies. cuz i misses our walkies this morning – especially the coffee part of it.
i still have a shiteload to do, but as of 3pm this afternoon, it seems like it all might work out. my rent will be (mostly) paid thanks to fh’s support payment and one of my clients agreeing to pay me asap – i’m still waiting for the other’s response, so that will determine how much, if any i will still owe to my landlord on the first.
then the first week of the month will bring in a tax rebate and my writing income. the shitty thing about paypal? it takes a week to transfer to canadian bank accounts, so i may have a few hundred bucks in there, but NOPE it can’t use it until seven days after i transfer it to my chequing account. i hate non-liquid cash.
ooh, it’s like wintery around here. sure, the sun is out but ten degrees or even fifteen celcius is not my friend. especially when i’m in need of a new winter coat.
