i haven’t been much of a link requestor but i have a favour to ask…
[the lead up] money’s been super tight around here. for the second month in a row, we’ve had to borrow money from family and still, this month there’s no way that we can possibly pay our rent.
[the deal] the owners of the website i write for is having a contest. they’re fairly new, adding in new blogs all the time – ones i’m sure a lot of you would like (like this one for you, jenn) – and so in a way to bring in new traffic, they’re having a contest for their writers. whoever brings in the most links to their site, www.451press.com, via outside websites, gets a bonus at the end of next month.
[how you can help] if you would put a link to their site somewhere in your blogs, such as in the following example and then leave me a comment that you have, it would add to my chances of getting the bonus. unfortunately, leaving comments with their link doesn’t count – it’s gotta be in sidebars and content 
eg: rilah has been getting paid to write about eating disorders for the past two weeks. if you want to get paid to blog, visit their site!
don’t worry, i won’t be offended if you don’t wanna. i would totally understand. just putting it out there!
