a few weeks ago, dr daddy and i both bought new shoes since we both couldn’t wear our old skate shoes when it rained. i really wanted the ones he got. but i couldn’t have them. so we went to a different store and look how different the ones i got are (i’m on the right, he’s leftsies)!
yesterday. dr daddy’s inheritance came in, finally, after some banking bullshit. what does this mean? today, i shopped.
i bought:
- a pair of low-rise old-skool converse type shoes (but they’re airwalk)
- a pair of adidas wannabe girly-army sporty skate shoes (they’re american eagle, but i didn’t buy them there)
- a pair of jeans and some girly boxers at american eagle
- two long sleeve shirts, some more socks and a pair of pjs for zoë at roots kids
- a dress for zoë and for me, 2 waffle long sleeve shirts, a pair of boyfriend khakis, a zip hoodie, a peasant top at the gap.
so, cuz i was shopping with zoë and overwhelmed at the thought that i could almost buy anything i wanted (but still, for some reason, only bought sale items) i didn’t try anything on and well, i got home, she is napping and the first order of business was to check out fits.
therefore, i am returning:
- the jeans to american eagle
- the khakis, peasant top, zip hoodie and one of the waffle tops to the gap.
i am keeping the shoes, though, bringing my total shoe count to seven. i’m the person who always had two pairs, so this is ASTOUNDING.
i hate it when my attempts to blow money don’t go well. i dropped somewhere over $300 and under $350, but after returning stuff, i’ll get back $170. psht – sucks to be me. now i have to shop, all over again!
