this year, everyone got scarves! why? lack of money, combined with moderate interest in free handing projects, mixed with oversupply of yarn and folded with love.this is how i spent my xmas vacation:
M.Y., secret asian man’s (now, ex-) girlfriend. Made using a baby-weight yarn and crocheted on an angle, steadily increasing, then decreasing.
secret asian man’s was also done on an angle, but was made with a chunky mixed ball and edged in chocolate brown.
fancy nancy’s was made of, i believe, seven granny-type squares, out of a lightweight, fancy, fuzzy acrylic which was a mixed ball of gray and black.
