the same thing happens to us with our daughter. she is 10 mos and no matter how much pink and flowers and bows she is wearing... people still say "he is so cute" .. i think sassy is right about why.

i went through the EXACT same thing with my daughter. i dressed her in pink all the time but she was almost bald & i swear EVERY old man was like hey little feller, what a cute little guy, how old is he etc... i think its the hair, those born before 1940 apparently only recognize female as those with full long hair, either that or they have no use for gender pronouns

He can't help how pretty he is. I have the same problem. To this day people think I'm a gorgeous woman. An overweight, lesbian, gorgeous woman.

she totally does NOT look like a boy. I have seen lots of babies that I have been confused about (especially when dressed in neutral colors) but she is not one of them...especially if she was dressed girly. old men are weird anyway.
