it turns out that the monkey has colic. apparently, crying a million hours a day isn’t normal. the doctor gave us a prescription for zantac for her and since starting it 2 days ago, she’s a whole different infant. like, stops crying. and you know, sleeps.
i also had my 6-week checkup and you’ll be pleased to know that i apparently have such good pelvic tone that the doc says she can barely tell i’ve had a baby. add to that that i am down to 111lbs. and i have earned an A+ in pregnancy recovery.
too bad i’m not doing this again, ever.
(or for a looong time.)
i feel slightly better, depression and anxiety wise. there’s a direct correlation to my sleep, her feeding and my diet and how mental i feel. so i’m feeling better, thanks to zantac.
