here’s the email that i got to send out…hey all:
after, what, six days of early labour with no progression (since tuesday afternoon)?, this morning at 4:30 i woke up for my normal millionth bathroom visit of the night and see that THE MUCUS PLUG HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.
we have an OBGYN appointment scheduled at 8:15am and since my contractions are already speeding up and getting stronger, we’ll see if we make it into the OBGYN’s office before going to the hospital!
two great things about this, besides the lack of progression going away: the doctor would have gone back to work today and this is early enough that he won’t get there and have to immediately leave; and fancy nancy (the doctor’s co-coach and mama) has a scheduled day off! yay for baby not complicating things, further! and we finally will get to meet him or her!we’ll let you all know what’s happened/ing as soon as we can.
