last night i found out that no, i am not the luckiest pregnant chick in the world – i found where my stretch marks have been hiding. they’re where i can’t see them, right below my belly button.
i think old wives’ tales should be called lies. in fact, as a society, let’s stop using that phrase and just start calling them what they are lies. i’ve eaten spicy food until i sweated, seduced the doctor, squatted, cleaned and gone for long walks – do you see me with a baby, yet? no. good, i’m glad you agree that i’m not delusional. so the only logical conclusion is that the-phrase-i-am-no-longer-using are a bunch of lies.
on a positive note, my apartment is pretty damn clean. i still have a list of things to clean up and do, though. cuz i’m OCDish like that.
today is my 39 week checkup. i never thought i’d make it this far. where’s my home caesarian kit?
i haven’t heard from my sister in weeks – the last thing i knew, her mom was calling me to see if she had called. she hadn’t been home in a day or so. i’m a little worried but i’m sure she’s just living a normal, anti-authority, 16 year-old life. i don’t remember having one of those. i stopped being normal at 15 and became a fake adult.
my site has been pissing me off royally for the past 4 days. for some reason, all of my images – backgrounds, bullets and title intro – have disappeared. the only way i know to fix it is to go into the template and individually load each image’s url. that is a total bitch.
in light of this template screwup, i think i’m just going to go off the deep end and finally learn html, not just the minimum tags to get by, and figure out how all this css shit works. then i can have my very own fancier template that isn’t based on anyone’s anything. HA, that’ll show you, you (i don’t actually know who it is that i intend to show, but i’ll learn ‘em good.)!
does anyone have some good blogger-friendly html resources for me to check out? books or sites? i’m planning on starting this venture as soon as the crocheting project is done (ETA 2 days) and i’m a quick learner for computer stuff. for some reason. even though i hate the techobastards, with their shininess and humming and ability to make life easier.
