the doctor just called on the end of his cafe break. he missed work yesterday cuz he was having back issues (which i did not inflict), so he didn’t find out until this morning that his work-nemesis quit yesterday. QUIT.
this guy got hired the day after the doctor. this guy has a 20% showing-up-for, never-mind-staying-for work record. this guy turns in other people’s pieces, claiming them as his own, so that his production will not be lacking, in quality or quantity. this guy got fired, then had his cousellor call the company, asking for his job back, because (SOB) he was bipolar and smoked pot and wasn’t taking his meds and that was the reason that he wasn’t coming to work or had been leaving after like, 2 hours.
this guy got said job back and nothing changed for long. this guy also had his probation period extended and has had a few final warnings. this guy smirked in the face of being fired and bummed five million smokes off of the doctor, without retribution or even verbally asking. this guy bums smokes by putting two fingers up to his lips and looking desperate. like a puppy when you’re eating bacon.
this guy needs to pull up his pants.
this girl is doing a happy dance and so is that doctor. because, me being bipolar, i don’t think there is ever an appropriate time to say that you should get to keep your job or get it back after being fired because you are bipolar. i do believe in being upfront about it. i’ve told employers during my first interview with them, prior to getting a job offer and gotten the offer, still. honesty and communication are key. i’ve quit jobs because of it. it’s not fair to assume that i should get special treatment when there’s someone else out there who not only could always do the job, but will be there to do so. and wants to.
this guy gets a big “GOOD RIDDANCE” from this girl and that doctor.
