It’s so pretty outside, with the snow falling – it’s damn peaceful.
Life is sweetening up, for me.
I’ve discovered that a constant inflow of mandarin oranges, almonds and juice is my best friend. I’ve been able to eat, the past 2 days! Hallelujah!
Talked to Jer’s stepbrother on msn last night, that 15-year old is the sweetest, most down to earth kid ever. I love him to bits! and he’s so excited about maybe being an uncle. He had the webcam on and did a little fetus jig.
Convos abound about how we’re gonna make sure my future daughter is gonna be cool, nonprincessey, etc. We’ve volunteered Nick to teach her how to say “You’re not my parents and you smell, go away!” in about 12 languages, by the time that she cuts her first tooth; jeremy will start teaching her glassblowing, from a super early age so that she doesn’t inherit mommy’s wierd fear of fire; we’ll need to get her a little baby skateboard; and ian’s hopped on board to teach her to snowboard. point being: this kid’s (finger’s crossed) gonna be so much cooler than her parents. and she do it all wearing pink, if she wants.
Today’s a definate up day, again. and i’m so thankful (to who, i dunno) for it.
only 5 more weeks, til i’m in the clear (ish)!
